ICDS organizes awareness camp

PANCHARI, Sept 3: To aware people especially PRI's,Local People and Anganwari workers about the requirement of proper nutrition for better child health, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) organized awareness programme on yesterday on Poshan Maah under Poshan Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Matru Bandana Saptah from 1st to 7th September2021 under PMMVY Scheme .
The awareness programme also known as POSHAN Abhiyan was organized by ICDS project Panchari under the overall supervision of Yashpal Sharma, CDPO ICDS Project Panchari.
Parkash Singh, Health and Nutrition Moblizer said that POSHAN Abhiyan is being celebrated across the country for the awareness of the Pregnent womens, Nursing Mothers, Adolescent Girls and Children about their health and nutritional requirements in different phases of life and motivate them to take this message forward in their respective fields.
While addressing the gathering, Sarpanch Chulna Kuldeep Kumar said that proper nutrition is vital at every stage of life, especially for children to stimulate their mental and physical growth.
He said that the main aim is to educate people especially the health workers about the significance of proper nutrition for pregnant women, regular ante-natal check-ups, institutional delivery and immunization for infants.
Naib Sarpanch Vijay Kumar and Panches of Pyt.Chulna, Pharmacist Mulkh Raj, Pharmacist Vijay Kumar of PHC Panchari were present on the occasion.
Health and Nutrition Mobilizer Parkash Singh awared the PRIs and AWWs and beneficeries about Poshan Maah and PMMVY scheme and PMMVY Saptah activities in the respective area of AWCs and also said tomorrow 03 September2021 our all AWWs of ICDS Project Panchari done survey/ PMMVY door to door visit in their respective areas of AWCs.
Pharmacist Mulkh Raj also awared the gathering about Poshan and sehat Card Scheme, Covid Vaccination etc.
