| GDC Kathua organise Run for Freedom Event | | |

Jammu, Sept 4: NSS Regional Directorate of New Delhi NSS Units incolaboration with NCC Naval and Infantry wing GDC Kathua organized 5km Run for Freedom event under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav and Fit India movement 2.0. today.
The theme of the Run was tribute to freedom fighters of India and make India healthy and Fit .The Freedom run was flagged off by the Chief Guest Prof. Jaswinder Singh vice Principal GDC Kathua along with senior faculty members. The Freedom Run was started from the college and passing through Shaheedi chowk, Shaheed Captain Sunil Chowk, Dream Park and culminated in Shaeed Bhagat Singh Park near DC office.At Shaeed Captain Sunil chowk participants paid rich tribute by singing National Anthem there.
The Principal apprised the NSS Units and NCC wings for organizing this event .He said to remember our freedom fighters and follow the formula of sound mind in the sound body shows that youth is on the right track. The event was organised under the supervision of NCC ANO 'S Dr Amreek Singh and Dr Varinder Singh and Prof Manmohan Singh, Prof Ritu kumar Sharma and Prof Neha Bandral Nss Prog officers.Among the faculty members who graced the occasion by their benign presence were Prof. Rakesh Jasrotia, Prof Shub Kumar Sharma ,Dr. Kailash Sharma, Dr Sumit Dubey, Dr Surya Pratap singh, Dr Pankaj Gupta,Prof. Anoop Sharma, Prof Shub Kumar, Dr Rachna, Dr.Jogbinder Singh, Prof. Kaurab Singh |
