Online campus placement drive held at YCET

Jammu, Sept 4: Campus placement drive was held at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology ( YCET ) for world renowned E-commerce company (Flip Kart) for all the Final Year B. Tech. students of YCET and Final Year MBA Students of IMS.
The job profiles offered by the companies include Technical Support Executive in process, Customer Care Executive in premium process and E- Commerce Customer Service Representatives with extremely good in terms of English language and to work in different time zones.
A total of 110 students from both the colleges participated in the event. At the end of a grueling selection process, which included aptitude tests, group discussions, personal interviews and telephonic interviews, 04 students were finally recruited through the placement event.
The programme was conducted by the Placement Cell of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. Various officials from the companies and Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology were present to properly drive the placement process. Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology is leading the effort to give the final year graduating students of Jammu a chance to have a first-hand experience of a placement drive.
All the selected students will get the package in the range of 2 lacs to 2.4 lacs per annum depending upon their performance after training. The four selected students in Flip Kart are Manik Sharma of CSE Department, Sayeed Aoves Ali and Akash Nisar of Civil Department and Shikha Raina of Institute of Management Sciences (IMS).
The students have practiced a lot for the preparation of drives and college has arranged many workshops for students on latest topics.
The students were very excited to hear about their selection. Senior Manager of the company Mr. Puneet Kumar Sarangal and HR coordinator Ms. Shweta Raina hailed the efforts put by the college in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow. Selected students got offer letters and they are supposed to join immediately.
Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions ( JGEI ), Jammu Chairman Er. Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Managing Director Renu Bangroo and Director YCET Prof. ( Dr. ) A. K. Srivastava congratulated the selected students. All HODs and department placement coordinators coordinated the placement drive whereas the drive was conducted by Er. Dinesh Gupta, Head, Training and Placement Cell of YCET.
