Jammu, Sept 9: Two students of the PG Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu (JU), Jammu have been selected as programmers during the campus placement drive conducted by the CoRover Pvt Ltd. Bangalore.
The Company is primarily working in the field of Artificial Intelligence and has 100+ businesses, 400 M+ Users, 20 B+ Interactions spread over 186 countries. The placement drive was held in the month of Aug 2021.
In the academic session 2021-22, the department has begun the campus placement in which, out of the twelve students, two students namely Ripan Howdhary and Aryan Mahajan of MCA 6th semester have got the placement letters and they will join the company initially for a probation period of six months.
The selection process was rigorously spread in different phases of programming skill tests, reasoning, and personality test followed by an HR interview which was held online by Mr. Ankush Sabarhwal, CEO of the company.
The placement drive was supervised by Prof. Pawanesh Abrol, Head of the Department of Computer Science and IT.
Dr. Shubhnandan Singh Jamwal was the coordinator of the placement drive. Prof Vinod Sharma, Prof Lalit Sen and Sh. Jasbir Singh facilitated the entire process of the placement.
