REASI, Sept 14: Field Outreach Bureau, Udhampur, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India today launched a public announcement awareness campaign on Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviour in Reasi district. District Development Commissioner, Reasi, Charandeep Singh flagged off the publicity announcement van.
The main objective behind this campaign is to spread Covid19 awareness in the far flung areas of district Reasi & to make people aware of the preventive measures to be taken to stay safe against the Covid19 infection.
Deputy Commissioner, while appreciating this effort of FOB Udhampur, said that the public announcement through publicity vans that too in the local language will leave a great impact on the minds of people. Khursheed Yousuf, Field Publicity Officer, Udhampur said that the public announcement awareness campaign is among series of activities being held by FOB Udhampur to educate the people about the threat of Covid. "Other activities like organising wall painting competition, distribution of leaflets and stickers on Covid19 awareness and Masks among the public are also being held on regular intervals. The Covid19 publicity announcement van will cover many blocks of district Reasi, he added. |
