One day orientation workshop on Ayushman Bharat PMJAY held in Doda

DODA, Sept 14: A one day orientation cum capacity building workshop on Ayushman Bharat PMJAY and PMJAY SEHAT was organised for empanelled hospitals of Doda and Kishtwar Districts by State Health Agency J&K in collaboration with Department of Health & Family Welfare here at Make Shift Campus, Government Medical College Doda.
The workshop was held on the directions of Chief Executive Officer SHA J&K Dr Sagar D Doifode and under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Sharma.
The workshop was inaugurated by Principal GMC Dr Noor Ali along with Chief Medical Officer Dr Mohammad Yaqoob Mir.
The main aim of the workshop was to build the capacity of the empanelled hospitals for successful implementation of AB-PMJAY and AB PMJAY SEHAT Scheme in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and to ensure that Standard Treatment Guidelines (STG) are being implemented by the stakeholders to enable the beneficiaries to avail the scheme benefit with ease.
The CMO, in his welcome address, presented a brief description on PMJAY Scheme and thanked State Health Agency J&K for conducting the workshop in Doda for those dealing with this scheme and enabling them to implement it in letter and spirit.
Consultant M&E SHA J&K, Vivek Koul was the Resource Person on the occasion, who gave a detailed presentation to intimate the participants of Doda and Kishtwar Districts about BIS and TMS.
Koul also gave a brief review of empanelled hospitals, claim adjudication and health benefits packages, STG & TAT guidelines, claim utilization and issues in the concerned hospitals.
Several significant aspects regarding the STGs were deliberated upon elaborately and the participants were exhorted upon to strictly adhere to the same. The hospitals were strictly asked to follow the guidelines of Turn Around Time (TAT).
Further, clarity regarding uploading of documents on TMS was also provided by the representative of SHA.
Principal GMC Doda Dr Noor Ali and District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat also spoke on the occasion and educated the participants about the purpose of organizing the workshop. They informed that such workshops would be held on regular intervals to ensure that least problems are faced by the beneficiaries in availing the benefits of the scheme.
The workshop was attended MS GMC Doda Dr Yudhvir Singh, Dr Walied Khawar Balwan, DMEO NHM Chanderkant Shan and BMEO NHM Mashhood Latief besides 25 PMAMs from District Doda and Kishtwar.
