Delhi model of governance most popular these days: AAP
9/14/2021 10:36:17 PM
Jammu, Sept 14: Statement issued by Apni Party chief Syed Altaf Bukhari promising 300 units of electricity for free besides doling out other amnesty wherever necessary, the AAP Jammu, in a press handout issued here, has said that Delhi model of governance has become talk of the town now across whole country as people are fed up with the ‘Jumlebaazi’ of various traditional political parties particularly at the time of polls be it in a State or for Parliamentary elections. Various leaders of national or regional political parties, be it Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, of Congress or Syed Altaf Bukhari of J&K and the like, are promising free electricity to the electorates if they come to power, the release said. While commenting on power scenario in the J&K, the AAP said that it is astonishing to point out that three mega Hydel Projects of Jammu Region namely Salal, Baghliar & Dul Hasti produce around 2500 mega watts electricity round the clock, still the people of Jammu face unscheduled cuts in summer and those of Kashmir valley during winter, beyond the understanding of hapless consumers. Where the electricity is going, the release asked and maintained that Delhi Government which has not the capacity to generate a single unit of electricity, is providing 200 units for free to Delhites which amply speaks of honest and pro-people approach of Arvind Kejriwal, irrespective of caste, creed and colour, it said. The release further affirmed that all political parties in the country have now admitted that they will have to deliver on the issue of power, water, quality education in government institutions and quality health services in government hospitals, if they want to rule the country and this is Delhi model of governance.
