JAMMU, Sept 14: The two-day long workshop on Yoga was concluded at Government Degree College (GDC) Jindrah.
In the presence of the Principal, staff, NSS unit and NSS volunteers the two day workshop was concluded with the concluding remarks of Dr Sunil Sharma, Programme Officer, NSS unit of GDC Jindrah wherein he described in details the activities done during the two day workshop.
The staff viz Prof Ashok Kumar, Prof Paramjit Singh, Dr Rajiv Katoch, and others were present on the occasion.
The yoga asanas learned during the event were displayed by volunteers and participants were made aware of different types of asanas as per different body postures and different age groups. The common Yoga protocols to be followed while performing asanas were also discussed in detail for the second consecutive day.
The Principal, Dr Raj Shree Dhar congratulated the whole NSS unit and highly appreciated the cooperation of AYUSH department for supporting two day workshop on Yoga.
The whole event was compiled by Dr Seema, Librarian and member of NSS committee. The event was very much appreciated by the students and staff.
