| GDC Vijaypur celebrates “Hindi Diwas “ under the banner of “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 14: To Commemorate the Hindi Day and in continuation to the sequel of events organized under the banner of “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav”, the NSS unit (KHIDMAT) of GDC Vijaypur organized an online “ Hindi Hand Writing Competition” with the aim to mark the adaptation of Hindi as an official language by the Constitution Assembly. Students from various Institutions across the nation participated with great zeal, enthusiasm and fervor.
The first position was secured by Shuvam Mankotia of GDC Billawar .The second position was secured by Seema Thakur of GCW Gandhinagar Jammu while the third position was secured by Abhay Kumar of GDC Vijaypur. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College. In her address she highlighted that Hindi is the official language of our nation. This is the language of the masses and can become an effective medium of communicating facts and great ideas to the people. |
