J&K Bank opens new business unit at Arai in Poonch

POONCH, Sept 14: Continuing with its policy of extending state-of-the-art banking facilities to the people irrespective of location and status, J&K Bank today commissioned a full-fledged Business Unit (BU) at Arai in Mandi tehsil of District Poonch.
The opening of this new Business Unit takes the number of Business Units in the Bank’s Jammu (West) Rajouri Zone to 64 and the overall count in the country to 965.
The Bank’s Zonal Head, Jammu (West) Rajouri, Rajesh Dubey inaugurated the business unit at Arai in presence of Cluster Head Poonch Sanjeev Datta, Heads of Business Units Mandi and Sathra amid gathering of valuable customers, elected public representatives and local residents. Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Head said, “Establishment of Arai business unit will make banking services easier and accessible to the locals as, earlier, they had to travel to BU Mandi for availing these facilities”, adding that Bank under the current leadership remains committed to provide best banking products and facilities to the people of J&K UT and beyond. He urged the people to make full use of the banking facilities and avail the beneficial services/products offered by the Bank.
Those present on the occasion hailed the efforts of Bank for providing them modern and affordable banking facilities near their doorsteps.
