JAMMU, Sept , 14: Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Jammu today organised a cultural programme here at Government High School, Chack Largan on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (India@75) and Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
Principal of the School, Khaleda Begam was the chief guest, while Madan Lal, Member Dogri Sahitya Sabha was the guest of honor on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest hailed Information Department for presenting cultural programme on Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav and Covid-19 appropriate behavior. She lauded the efforts of the Information Department for creating awareness through the medium of performing art and music. She urged the Department to hold more such events in the near future.
Staff of the school, besides members of Dogri Sahitya Sabha Janak Raj and Subash Sumbria also attended the event.
Later, the artists of Cultural Wing of DIPR organised a public show at Bajalta Railway Station on Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
The artists spread awareness by singing theme based songs on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and jingles on Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
