Samooh Women wing holds free medical camp

JAMMU, Sept 14: Samooh Women wing held a free medical camp here today at Purkhoo Camp. Dr Sarika Rajkumari Padha from Ayurvedic Medicine Department conducted the camp and checked up more than 100 patients most of them women and also prescribed required medicines in view of their ailments as a treatment after fully diagnosing the health problems of the patients, who visited in the camp.
Anita Chandpuri, president of Samooh Women wing, expressed her thanks to Dr Mohan Singh, Director Ayush and Dr Suresh Sharma for providing their valuable time for this noble cause in the critical time of covid-19 pandemic.
Chandpuri while briefing about the mission said free medical camps are organized to provide health services and create an environment where the underprivileged community gets sensitized about health issues.
She informed that Samooh has also organized many free medical camps on the various health issues of the community in the past and this mission will continue in the future too.
Chandpuri also expressed thanks to Arshida Khan, Chairman Divya NGO for her support in providing medicines to the patients.
Dimple head of the centre made publicity of this free medical camp among the community while Satveer Kour assisted Anita Chandpuri during this camp.
