Childline Jammu celebrates Poshan Maah

JAMMU, Sep 18: As the month of September celebrates POSHAN Maah across the country since 2018.The basic purpose behind the concept is to educate people about the importance of Nutritious and balanced diet. Awareness events were conducted during the month with different stakeholders. To educate the people especially the children a daylong event was organized by CHILDLINE Jammu, Nodal organization Department of Law University of Jammu at Lower Barnai, Jammu. During the event the participants were also aware about the 1098 number .They were urged to call on 1098 number when they saw any child in distress. The activity was conducted under the supervision of Nodal Director/HoD Prof Satinder Kumar Department of Law, University of Jammu. The proceedings of the event were conducted by Rohit Khajuria coordinator. Vinod Pandita, Neerja Raina and Kiran Dogra (volunteers) were also present on the occasion.
