Kingdom of Momos’ opens in Jammu

JAMMU, Sept 19: Bringing a new tasty outlet for food lovers in Jammu, “Kingdom of Momos”, opened its outlet in the city of temples. The chief guest on the occasion was B R Gupta, Director Prosecution, J&K Police (Retired). Guest of Honour was Rohit Gupta-CPO Anti-Corruption Bureau and R K Gupta- Chief Manager PNB (Retd).
The fast food joint at Shop No.1, Rama Lane, Talab Tillo, Jammu, will bring the best of the classic momos and other Chinese dishes. Speaking on the occasion, B R Gupta appreciated the initiative of the young team and said that the outlet will provide best of quality and taste to the customers.
“I am happy that apart from providing employment the Kingdom of Momos will provide authentic taste to the foodies. We need to encourage young entrepreneur”, Gupta said. “Our team’s priority is to serve the customer and provide them with the authentic taste of momo. We will give you the real stuff, but you won’t have to burn a hole in your wallet for it”, said Heena Mahajan, one of the owners of the outlet.
Momos are sumptuous dumplings stuffed with meat or vegetables. It is believed that Momos probably originated in China and passed through Tibet and made a secure spot for themselves on the culinary map of India. These steamed dumplings which have long been a significant part of Tibetan and Nepali cuisines, have gradually garnered many fans across the country.
