DC Reasi launches Youth ECHO platform for YC members to share their thoughts
Advises them to become part of Mission Youth

REASI, Sept 21: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Charandeep Singh, today virtually launched 'Youth ECHO' an initiative to provide a platform to the youth of the district to share their thoughts, suggestions and raise their issues and grievances in an organised manner.
In an online interaction with the members of various youth clubs, the Deputy Commissioner motivated the youth members to channelize their energies in a constructive manner. He exhorted them to explore avenues for becoming Atmanirbhar and contribute towards the prosperity of the district and the UT.
The DC congratulated the youth club members for showing keen interest in Mission Youth of the UT government. He said that around 7500 youths have been registered with youth clubs across the district. He assured them of every possible support from the district administration in their future endeavours.
Motivating the youth to avail the maximum benefit of the government initiatives, he said that in the present hyper-competitive world the opportunity never knocks at the doors rather one needs to grab it. He advised the youth to learn from the success stories of legends like Bharat Ratna late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Milkha Singh, Amitabh Bachchan who overcame many failures and hurdles to succeed in life.
Briefing about the opportunities available through Mission Youth, he said that for its success, the youth clubs should converge and coordinate among themselves. The first priority of the District administration will be to invite the inputs and suggestions from the youth clubs as they are envisaged as the drivers of this mission. He advised them to work towards tapping the unexplored tourism potential in Reasi including Village tourism, Adventure Tourism and assured of every possible support from the district administration. He also exhorted them to avail benefits of livelihood generation programs like MUMKIN scheme.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner listened to the suggestions, grievances and issues of the youth. Participants from all over the district talked to the Deputy Commissioner and put forth their views, suggestions and raised issues being faced by them.
The interaction programme was coordinated by ACD Reasi, Dr. Anirudh Rai, and Tehsildar Arnas, BDOs from all Blocks coordinated the youth club members from their respective offices.
