| GDC Billawar observes International Peace Day | | |

JAMMU, Sept 21: GDC Billawar observed International Peace Day today under the aegis of Shikshit Bharat and Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. Function started with the lightening of candles for the peace by the Principal, Prof Anita Jamwal and staff members. Then Principal gave a message on the role of peace and non violence in the life of a human. Students of college presented their thoughts on peace and also sang songs on Peace Day. In the last, slogan writing competition was organized in which 17 students have participated. Meenakshi has secured first position, Mohit Salaria has secured second position and Ashwani Kumar and Sahil Malik have shared third position. The event was adjudged by Assistant Prof Arun Sharma and Assistant Prof Shiv Kumar Khajuria. The event was organized by Assistant Prof Yash Paul (PO, NSS) and Assistant Prof Rajni Kumari (Convener, Cultural Committee) and Assistant Prof Raman Kumar. The whole programme was organized under the overall supervision of college Principal Prof Anita Jamwal. |
