Kishtwar: Enforcement team recovers Rs 5100 fine from SOP violators

KISHTWAR, Sept 21: The enforcement teams today recovered Rs 5100 fine from Covid SOP violators during surprise checking of business establishments and market places here in Kishtwar Township.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, a team of officers comprising Naib Tehsildar Executive Magistrate (Hq) Mohammad Abass, Naib Tehsildar Kishtwar/Executive Magistrate Javed Iqbal Khanday along with Police Officers conducted random checking of COVID-19 vaccination certificates, wearing of masks in the market and also in passenger vehicles plying on the link roads of Tehsil Kishtwar regarding Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB).
During the random checking, a fine of Rs. 5100 was imposed on the violators.
The officers visited the public places near the bus Stand and Tehsil Office Kishtwar and asked street vendors, shopkeepers, drivers, people on the road and those inside shops without wearing masks to comply with the government directions on COVID-19.
