| Day-long special enrollment drive conducted in Pargwal | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 22: The Education Department conducted a day-long enrollment drive under the supervision of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Jourian, in various schools of Tehsil Pargwal.
Today the drive was held at Government Girls Middle School Pargwal, Government Middle School Chhanni Tana and Government Middle School Sajwal for increasing the student population in government educational institutions particularly at the primary level. The programme was aimed at to motivate the parents to enroll their kids in government schools. The events were attended by Panchayat members, prominent persons, parents, teachers and villagers of the areas. Speaking on the occasion, ZEO Jourian Madan Lal Sharma and Cluster in-charge Rajinder Singh and other speakers stressed the importance of enrolling the children in government schools and appealed to the villagers to avail the facilities and benefits of various education schemes initiated by the government.
