| DLSA Reasi conducts Legal Awareness Programme on Central, UT schemes, services | | |

JAMMU, Sept 22: District Legal Service Authority, Reasi today organised a Legal Awareness Programme on Central, UT Government Schemes and Public Utility Services.
The event was held under the aegis of NALSA and as per the Action Plan/Calendar for the month of September, 2021 issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority and under the supervision of R.N. Wattal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi,
Gulshan Kumari from Social Welfare Department Reasi was the resource person. She listed and explained to the participants different welfare schemes of Social Welfare Department including Integrated Social Security Schemes, National Social Assistance Programme and their various components meant for benefiting Weaker and Marginalised Sections of the society.
Panel Lawyers, M.S. Mir and Shalinder Bhardwaj also spoke on different public utility services. The objective of organising this program was to aware the general masses about the social welfare schemes and public utility services available for their well being. |
