Many women issues resolved under Modi govt: Prerna

JAMMU, Sept 22: J&K UT Mahila Morcha Secretary and Prabhari District Samba Prerna Nanda, alongwith District President Mahila Morcha Sonia Thakur, BJP Mandal President Karan Singh,Morcha General Secretary Kranti Kiran and Mandal President Neeru Sharma chaired a meeting at Nud Mandal of Samba District.
Prerna Nanda, in her address in the meeting, said that women are no less than men and have contributed significantly in the party from the time of its inception. She expresse hope that they will keep working continuously for the growth of the organizational base in the society.
She appreciated the efforts of Mahila Morcha activists during the DDC elections. She said that every single Mahila Morcha activist has worked tirelessly to contribute in the party's accomplishment. She said that the Morcha has achieved success in mobilizing the women folk but added that their job is not over yet. She prompted Morcha activists to take a cue from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and his untiring selfless efforts for the development of the nation.
She complimented the BJP leadership for giving representation to women in the organization as well as at people's representatives levels. She said that many important women issues have been resolved under the PM Narendra Modi Government and thus this period can be easily termed as golden era in modern times for women.She also asked the women activists to actively participate in Seva aur Samarpan programmes which the BJP is celebrating in connection with birthday of PM Narender Modi.
Sonia Thakur assured that the Mahila Morcha will also leave no stone unturned for extending the base of the party in all the sections of the society. She also thanked the Mahila Morcha team of Nud Mandal for their participation in the meeting.
After the meeting plantation drive was also undertaken in Nud Mandal of District Samba.
