| CJM Court Samba declares Police official ‘proclaimed absconder’ | | |

SAMBA, Sept 22: Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kathua has declared a police official as proclaimed absconder. An order issued by the CJM Court stated that “The details with respect to the salary account of the accused namely Rajinder Singh Son of Surinder Singh R/o Chak Shian Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu is produced by the prosecution. The lookout notice against the accused absconder Rajinder Singh S/0 Surinder Singh Rio Chak Shian Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu issued by the department of police is also part of the file.Accordingly considering the Investigating Officer, the lookout notice, this is the fit case for initiation of proceedings under section 82 of CrPC and as such the written proclamation is issued against the absconder namely Rajinder Singh S/o Surinder Singh R/o Chak Shian Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu, who is a serving police official with direction to appear before this court on next date of hearing that is 28/10/2021 failing which the attachment proceedings shall be initiated against the accused namely Rajinder Singh S/o Surinder Singh R/o Chak Shian Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu. Prosecution is directed to publish the present proclamation immediately in the leading newspaper and fix the same at the house of the accused as well as the notice board of this court.”
