Different Trade associations under the banner of Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market gathered in front of the main gate of the warehouse and expressed their anguish over the opening of Reliance Retail Stores.
Wearing black strips traders expressed strong displeasure over the proposal of big companies like Reliance to open stores in Jammu in the retail sector, saying that if this happens then small shopkeepers of Jammu will be ruined and their shops will be closed.
Deepak Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu while addressing media on this occasion said that they have been continuously appealing to the government to take some steps to save the small traders of Jammu but their plea is not being heard.
