POONCH, Oct 6: District administration Poonch, under the supervision of District Development Commissioner, Inder Jeet, today organized Block Diwas to take stock of public issues and concerns.
The programme witnessed immense response from the public from Mandi block and adjoining areas. During the programme, PRI members and locals raised various development issues including completion of Mandi Phagla and Chajla Azmatabad Marote roads, repair of Sathra to Budha Amarnath Shrine road, completion of Loran to Tangmarg road, completion of Mandi Bypass bridge, completion of all PHE schemes, SRTC service from Budha Amarnath shrine to Jammu, sports stadium for Mandi, construction of bridge over Mandi river at Sathra, adequate staff of doctors including physician and gynecologist at Mandi Hospital, timber depot at Mandi, installation of 120 KVA transformers at Mandi and Azmatabad, recruitment in PHE and PDD departments and related matters.
Responding to the demands, DDC issued instructions to the executing agencies for timely completion of all ongoing development works in the district.
Later, DDC inaugurated an Aushadhi Kendre at Sub District Hospital Mandi.
Chairperson Block Development Council, BDC members, Chief Executive Officer Tourism, ACD, Executive Engineers, DSWO, CMO, Tehsildar, BDO besides all concerned officers and prominent citizens were present. |
