Civil Defence wardens holds meeting

JAMMU, Oct 6: A meeting of Civil Defence warden was held at Civil Defence control Room Jammu. The meeting was chaired by Anita Pawar, Dy.SP. Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. The meeting was attended by Paramjir Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu. Vinod Sharma Divisional Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Mangotra Dy. Divisional Warden CD Jammu, Harcharan Singh Post Warden CD Jammu, Vimal Pandita Post Warden CD Jammu, Amit Nayar Post warden CD Jammu and a large number of Sector wardens of CD Jammu. The main agenda of the meeting was introduction of Dy. Controller CD Jammu with Civil Defence warden and forthcoming of Navratra duty at Bahu Fort Jammu. .
At the outset of the meeting all the CD Wardens welcomed the newly posted Dy. Controller CD Jammu on her new place of posting. Addressing the meeting Dy. Controller CD Jammu appreciated the role of Civil Defence wardens who are the back boon of the Civil Defence Organization. Dy. Controller CD Jammu heard various issues faced by the CD wardens. She assured the wardens/ volunteers that their burning issues shall be sorted out as early as possible. The CD wardens were asked to organize large number of awareness camps in their areas along with CD Instructors with regard to preventive measures during Earth Quake, Fire Fighting, First Aid, Flood Rescue & Drug menace etc. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by Chief Warden CD Jammu.
