JAMMU, Oct 6: School of Engineering and Technology, BGSBU organized a webinar on "Skill Development: Role of E-Learning Platforms for Up- Skilling and Training" today. Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Prof.Akbar Masood lauded the efforts of the School of Engineering and Technology for organizing the webinar. Prof. Akbar mentioned that skill development through e-learning has gained increased importance and acceptance in view of the challenges posed by Covid-19. He said that the talent landscape in this new environment is being re-imagined and digital education has opened a window of opportunity for both teachers and students, ensuring greater participation in the learning process. Prof. Rihan Khan Suri, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, Delhi delivered the keynote address. In his address Prof Khan emphasized on various E-Learning National platforms like SWAYAM, NPTEL and some international platforms like COURSE ERA. |
