10/7/2021 11:29:40 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 7: People in J&K have awakened against violence in Kashmir and are giving a befitting reply to militants and their activities, which is why the frustrated anti-national elements are targeting innocent civilians on selective basis just to show their meager presence which is on its last leg now. This was stated by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri today, who added that killing of two teachers by terrorists in Srinagar, two days after three other killings including that of a prominent chemist Makhan Lal Bindroo, shows sheer frustration on the part of militants who are trying to scare people. However, the statement of Dr Samriddhi Bindroo has made it quite clear that gone are the days when people used to get scared.
People have awakened against militancy as well as violence and are prepared to give a befitting reply to terrorists, who had taken so many innocent lives and disturbed peace since decades. He added that enough damage has been done to the secular fabric of Kashmir, its composite culture, prosperity, people's aspirations, children's education and development but now the time has come to reverse everything and throw terrorists out to pave a way for Kashmir's own people and their well-being.
He assured the families of Bindroo besides other victims that the entire country stands with them in this hour of distress and added that their valour and sacrifice will never go waste and will script a new chapter in the history of Jammu & Kashmir. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ample plans for development of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh and in the years to come, the northernmost part of country will blink on international maps of tourism, development and even manufacturing.
