| Card of Forest Committee chairman withdrawn as he was found indulging in political activities | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Oct 7: Range Forest Officer Thakrie range falling under the jurisdiction of Forest Division Doda has ordered the withdrawal of card of Forest Committee Chairman after he was found indulged in political activities. As per the details available with Early Times, the notice issued for Range Officer vide No. 195 dated 5/10/2021 stated that a resolution was passed by general public of Keshwan regarding the election of chairman Forest Committee on 13-8-2021 wherein Ghulam Hussain Mir S/o Ghulam Ahmed Mir R/o Keshwan Nagnigad was unanimously elected as chairman added that the office of Range Office accordingly issued the card to the above mentioned person. The notice stated that the objection was raised by some locals that the appointee is involved in political activities which are prohibited. "Hence a person involved in political activities can't be allowed to work as chairman Forest Committee. Therefore the card issued in this context to Hussain deemed to be canceled ab initio" reads the notice. |
