Union MoS Shripad Yesso Naik concludes two day visit to Doda district

DODA, Oct 8: As a part of the Central Government's Public Outreach Programme, Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping, Waterways and Tourism, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik today concluded his two day visit to district Doda. On the second day of his visit, the Union Minister visited and paid obeisance at the famous temples of Bhaderwah which includes Chinote Mandir, Gupt Ganga, Vasuki Dev Mandir and Gatha Mandir. He also inspected the famous tourist park at Gatha. During the visit, various delegations and individuals met with the Union MoS and projected their demands with regard to religious pilgrimage and improvement of basic amenities to the pilgrims at Kailash Yatra. The Minister assured the locals that all of their demands have already been projected before him by the PRI representatives and District Administration and shall be ensured on priority basis in the upcoming days. DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma, Director Tourism Jammu Vivekananda Rai and other officers were also present on the occasion.
