| Plus Two Lecturers' Forum condemns gruesome killing of teachers | | Observes silence in schools across J&K | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 8: All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum condemned the most inhumane and gruesome killing of a Principal and Teacher in a terrorist attack in kashmir as part of targeted and selective killings of civilians in J&K.
In a statement, President of the Forum, Deepak Sharma expressed great shock and dismay over the most unpardonable act of terrorism in the UT of J&K.
Forum appealed Home Minister and LG Manoj Sinha to act tough on militants and eliminate and uproot the resurfacing elements of violence and enemies of humanity in Kashmir and provide security to most vulnerable and soft target teachers among others in Kashmir.
Sharma said that J&K is known for its composite culture but enemy from across the border is hell bent upon disturbing its peace and communal harmony. But the Forum is hopeful and confident that teaching community in particular and civil society in general will never allow the evil designs of perpetrators of violence to derail tranquil fabric and communal harmony of J&K.
Vice President, Anil Sharma informed that Forum paid heartfelt condolences on sad killing of Principal Supinder Kour and teacher Deepak Chand and whole teaching community observed silence across schools of UT of J&K at 10:30 am in respect of martyred teachers and prayed that departed souls rest in peace and God bestow strength and courage to members of bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. |
