GDC Doda organizes PMSSS interactive workshop

JAMMU, Oct 8: Government Degree College (GDC) Doda in collaboration with All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi organized Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) 2021-22 interactive workshop for the aspiring students of Chenab region of J&K. Rakesh Kumar Ganju, Asst Director AICTE, PMSSS New Delhi and Dr Ajeet Angral, Nodal Officer, PMSSS UT of J&K attende the programme as experts of PMSSS. Programme began with the welcome address by Dr Ajaz A Wani, Coordinator PMSSS facilitation center GDC Doda. Principal GDC Doda Dr Attar Singh Kotwal spoke on the occasion and highlighted the significance of this student centric PMSSS scholarship scheme. He stressed upon the student community to fully avail the golden opportunities like PMSSS from the side of Govt of India and excel in their careers. It was followed by a detailed lecture on Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme by the expert from AICTE New Delhi. Another expert highlighted various dark areas related to PMSSS registration, verification, choice filling and other experience based important things. About 300 students with their parents attended the workshop.
A healthy interaction between the stakeholder students and the AICTE team was the main program of the day.
