| Rahul Sahai calls on Union Minister of Steel | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 8: Rahul Sahai, Chairman PHDCCI Jammu led delegation of PHDCCI to meet and present memorandum to Ramchandra Prasad Singh, Union Minister of Steel in Jammu. Sahai was accompanied with Rahul Bansal from Kashmir Steel Industries, biggest and noted steel Manufacturer of J&K.
Sahai briefed about the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry established in 1905, a proactive National Apex Chamber working at the grass-root level with strong national and international linkages. The Chamber acts as a catalyst in the promotion of industry, trade and promotion of entrepreneurship also briefed about working of PHDCCI in J&K.
Sahai congratulated the union minister for PLI scheme worth 6322 crores for five years having investment of 40000 cr and asked minister that how this scheme could benefit Jammu and J&K or any plans of investment in Jammu under this scheme.
Bansal stressed upon purchase preference for the existing TMT bar industries of J&K. He applauded minister that all the central government projects are only using branded TMT Bars in spite of best quality local TMT’s are available in J&K.
He suggested to have some purchase preference for local TMT steel industries of J&K which can further result into employment and consumption of steel. |
