| GDC Thannamandi organizes cleanliness drive in college campus | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Oct 9: As a part of ongoing cleanliness campaign under the Clean India programme, the NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi organized a cleanliness drive in the college campus.
The drive was part of an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”.
About 40 NSS volunteers took part in the drive and cleaned the college campus. The volunteers cleaned the college premises, administration block, Parking and other adjoining areas. During drive the maintenance of plants were also taken into consideration.
The event was organized under the guidance of Principal Prof (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi.
Prof. Muhammad Shoket, NSS Programme Officer supervised the event.
Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the NSS volunteers regarding the “Clean India Campaign” and advised them to continue the drive throughout the month |
