| DYSSO holds cleanliness drive at Jammu Railway Station | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 9: The Clean India programme under ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ was organized at Jammu Railway Station on the directions of Director, Youth Services & Sports, J&K UT Gazanfar Ali.
The programme was organized under the supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma and Zonal Physical Education Officer Gandhi Nagar, Chander Kanta Sharma.
On this occasion Rajiv Saberwal, Jammu Railway Station Superintendent, Dinesh Prashad, ENHM and Sanjeev Kumar were present there. With the cooperation of Railway Staff along with field staff of zone Gandhi Nagar the programme was a huge success.
The cleanliness drive at Railway Station organized by zone Gandhi Nagar, who collected the ‘Single Use Plastic’ on Railway Station. The Field Staff of zone Gandhi Nagar made aware the passengers and other local people about harmful effects of single use plastic.
ZPEO Gandhi Nagar Chander Kanta Sharma speaking on the occasion exhorted upon all the field staff to keep their institutions and localities plastic free.
She also urged them to spread awareness in the society about the harmful effects of single use plastic. |
