| DLSA Ramban organises legal awareness camps across 5 Tehsils | | |

RAMBAN, Oct 9: District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Ramban today organized a Legal awareness camp at District Hospital Ramban to mark the observance of International Day of Mental Health. The event was held under the Chairmanship of the Chairman DLSA (Pr. Distt & Sessions Judge) Haq Nawaz Zargar. The participants were educated about the rights of mentally ill persons, while the health experts educated the participants about the ways to maintain good mental health.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary DLSA, Pooja Gupta informed that programme has been organized to implement directions of the NLSA and JK LSA under “PAN India Awareness and outreach campaign which commenced on October 2 and would culminate on November 14, 2021 and Legal Service Week from October 8 to October 14, 2021” under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”
Similar camps were also held in Banihal, Ukhral, Ramsoo and Panchayat Ghar Boon Bari Batote to educate the people about the legislations for mentally ill persons and NALSAs Scheme for Mentally Ill Persons.
Medical Superintendent DH, Ramban, Dr. Hameed Zargar,Advocate Karajeet and a large number of people attended the camps amid covid protocoles.
