JAMMU, Oct 10: J&K level-1 umpires including Rajesh Gill, Sudhir Singh, Amit Gupta, Harbinder Singh have expressed condolences with former test umpire S K Bansal on the sad demise of his son Sumit Bansal, BCCI panel umpire. In a statement other umpires Saleem-ur-Rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Ashok Kumar, Vijay, Sanju and Vinod also took part in the condolence meeting at Jammu. Gill informed the meeting that Sumit was seriously injured while officiating in the BCCI Vinoo Mankad 2021-22 under-19 league round up match in the current season. |
