RAMNAGAR, Oct 10: In its mission to aware the senior citizens of remote areas of the district Udhampur about their responsibilities towards the society, to apprise them about various schemes and programmes launched by the Government especially for senior citizens, an awareness camp was held by Ramnagar branch of the Senior Citizens’ Club (SCC) Udhampur at village Bari.
Rakesh Singh, Additional Finance Commissioner, inaugurated the camp and explained in detail about various programs under way for welfare of senior citizens. On the occasion, the magazine of the Club was distributed among people to inform them what activities the Club had undertaken during the Corona period.
The chief guest appealed to the people especially senior citizens to come forward in building the nation by dispensing their experience mustered by them during their active services.
