JKTA hails DSEJ, CEO Doda for Annual Transfer Drive

JAMMU, Oct 10: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Association (JKTA) held a virtual meeting under the leadership of its UT President Bhupinder Singh. The meeting was attended by Executive Members and District Presidents of Jammu Division. While speaking on the occasion, Bhupinder Singh has hailed the Director School Education Jammu for transfer of Masters under Annual Transfer Drive (ATD). Singh also demanded that the transfer of left out districts be done at an earliest.
Meanwhile, JKTA has also hailed the Chief Education Officer Doda for implementing the Annual Transfer Drive in a successful manner.
The Association has requested the CEOs of Ramban and Kishtwar and other left out districts too to implement the drive in same manner.
Meanwhile UT President JKTA Bhupinder Singh has also asked the Finance department to release the share of NPS of teachers which is lying pending. Singh said that the non-pension teachers are worst sufferers and has taken loans to earn their living.
The share of non-pension teachers has not been received so far for the month of September 2021 which needed to be released at an earliest, said Bhupinder Singh. He said that the government is playing with the lives of the teachers. The NPS share needed to be released before 15th of this month in order to provide solace to the teachers, he added. The virtual meeting was attended by Akhtar Abbas Niak, Joginder Digra, Farooq Daing, Sanjeev Guleria, Sunil Salaria, Varinder Sharma, Shoket Ali, Farooq Tanha, Irfan Bajan, Vikas Khajuria, Mehboob Alam and others.
