Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 10: The Employees Joint Action Forum has warned the government of dire consequences in case they failed to provide security to the employees belonging to the minorities discharging their duties in the Kashmir valley. Talking to media persons, leaders of the Forum said that the government should take immediate steps to provide security to the employees belonging to the different communities. They said that if that is not possible then it would be prudent to allow the employees to move to Jammu where their families are settled. “It is high time that security is provided to the employees belonging to the different minorities working in the Kashmir valley. In case that is not possible for the government then these employees should be allowed to go to Jammu. This would at least secure their lives and their family members would not be worried about their safety,” said the Forum leaders. The Forum leaders said that the government would be responsible in case some harm is caused to the employees working in the Kashmir valley and belonging to the different minority communities. They also sounded a warning to the militants who carried out recent attacks and killed Supinder Kour, Deepak Chand and Makhan Lal Bindroo.
