Impressive Prabhat Pheri taken out on 5th day of Navratra Festival

KATRA, Oct 11: An impressive Prabhat Pheri was taken out on the 5th day of Navratra Festival from Bus Stand Katra.
Hundreds of devotees from Katra and outside state joined the Prabhat Pheri. The devotees were singing bhajans and dancing on the tunes of drums enroute the Prabhat Pheri. The local people in their areas welcomed and greeted the participants of the procession.
The Prabhat Pheri after passing through Shiv Mandir, Chintamani Mandir via Banganga Road was welcomed by CRPF Inspector Naresh Kumar at CRPF Gate Darshani Deodi where their CRPF 6th battalion personnel greeted the participants and offered the parshad.
Earlier chief guest Abhishek Sharma SDM Katra flagged off the Prabhat Pheri in presence of Ambica Bali, Assistant Director Tourism Katra and Kushal Sanmotra retired Joint Director Education Deptt. Maharashtrian devotees under the leadership Neelkhand Shinde participated in the Prabhat Pheri and this group was honoured by chief guest SDM Abhishek Sharma with Navaratra Festival memento.
Groups of regional outreach bureau comprising of J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Orissa and devotees participated in large numbers in the Parbhat Pheri under the leadership of Durga Parshad.
