DDC Kathua approves 89 self employment loan cases under DUDA

KATHUA, Oct 11: A meeting of the Task Force Committee for District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) was held today under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Rahul Yadav.
The meeting sanctioned 89 self employment cases involving a total loan of Rs 1.22 crore for opening units under different trades.
The loan cases placed before the Committee were received from MC Kathua, Basohli, Billawar, Hiranagar, Parole and Lakhanpur towns of Kathua district.
The cases approved were for different trades i.e. purchase of Auto load carrier, establishment of Diary, Beauty Parlor, Boutique, Bamboo Craft and Provisional Store etc.
This was the Third Task Force Committee meet for achieving the allocated target of approving 597 cases in the FY 2021-22.
The DDC Kathua directed all the concerned functionaries to expedite the sponsoring as well as the disbursement of the cases within the stipulated time frame.
The meeting was attended by Project Officer DUDA, Ramneek Singh [Member Secretary], LBO SBI Kathua, Representative DIC Kathua, Chief Manager PNB Kathua, Nodal Officer J&K Bank Kathua, Bushan Singh Chouhan CMM (S&ME), Er. Mavi Kapoor, CMM (SM&ID) Community Organizers and other officers/officials.
