JAMMU, Oct 12: Black-topping of one of the internal roads from Bhour Shamshan Ghat to Chatha Matador Stand was jointly inaugurated by Prof. Youdhvir Singh, Councilor ward 73 Gadigarh and Sarpanch S Avtar Singh Shanty, Chatha Farm in presence of jubilant inhabitants of that locality.
The road is being repaired and black-topped by the APEX Development Agency PWD. The road earlier was constructed more than 15 years when it used to be part of PRI. Prof Singh greeted the people for the upcoming festivals of all faiths as the festival season has set in. He appealed the public not allow the tractor trolleys carry and smuggling sand, stone & bajjri who use this hiding route to escape police and geology and mining departments, because the road has the carrying capacity of cars and repeated heavy load carrying vehicles may damage road out of proportion.
