DLSA Ramban organises series of awareness events on BBBP

RAMBAN, Oct 12: District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Ramban, today organized a day long awareness programme on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) at Government Higher Secondary School Ramban to promote study culture among girls, besides ensuring quality education for them.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman DLSA (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge) Ramban, Haq Nawaz Zargar as part of Pan India Awareness and Outreach Programme and ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Speaking at the occasion, the resource persons threw light on the legal values of observing awareness on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. They said that the Judiciary is always at the back of women folk. They listed various flagship programmes aimed at welfare and empowerment of women. They also appealed to the masses to give equal opportunities to girls for their personality development.
Similar camps were also held in Banihal, Ukhral, Dalwah, Chanderkote, Khari, Panchayat Gundi, Sangaldan, Binganra,and Chakwa Batote to educate the people about the BBBP.
