Director Tourism inaugurates Devotional song program

KATRA, Oct 12: The 2-day devotional song performances being held here as part of Navratra Festival-2021 is witnessing soulful performance by artists from across Jammu region.
The event was inaugurated by Director Tourism Jammu Vivekananda Rai here at Yog Ashram Ground the other day.
Directorate of Tourism Jammu in collaboration with District Administration Reasi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra is celebrating the Navratra Festival-2021.
The artists from Jammu presented their beautiful soulful performances and enthralled the audience.
The main highlights of the nine day celebration is the Mata Ki Kahani Stage Show by Natrang Group at Auditorium Spiritual Growth Centre Katra everyday at 4:00 pm and daily evening cultural performances at Higher Secondary school Katra by the artists from States of Maharashtra, Odisha, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and local artist groups of Jammu region.
The devotional song event will continue for two days and Hasya Kavi Sammelan is also scheduled from October 12 at Higher Secondary school Katra at 5:00 pm along with devotional song performances at 8:00 pm onwards at Yog Ashram Ground Katra.

The Director Tourism Jammu also witnessed the Mata ki Kahani Show and the amazing performances by artists of Regional Outreach Bureau at HSS Katra.
Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated all the artists and the local trade, travel and other local associations for their collaborative effort to make the Navratras Festival a success. The Navratra Festival shall culminate on 15th of October with the Shobha Yatra and Mata ki kahani Theatre Show.
