Mother India Sr Sec School felicitates meritorious students

JAMMU, Oct 12: A felicitation ceremony was held at Mother India Senior Secondary School, RS Pura. Master Chahit Choudhary and Rekha Devi were felicitated for securing 5th Position in the merit list of Science Stream of Class 12th Board Exams after the re-evaluation result vide JKBOSE’s notification no. 090 /HSP-Two (R)/Annual 2021Dated 11-09-2021.
Sonia Tohra, Principal, Mother India Sr. Sec. School, presented a memento and cash prize to Chahit Choudhary in presence of his parents and staff members. She congratulated Chahit and his parents and admired him for bringing laurels to the school, parents and the Sub-Division RS Pura. She felt elated while informing that now the school has total 23 positions in the merit list of class 12th.
While speaking on the occasion Chahit Choudhary said that he was quite sure that he would secure a position in Class 12th Board exams as he worked very hard for the same. But when the result was declared he was shocked to see his result as he remained short of position by just 5 marks. Then he decided to apply for re-evaluation in English Subject which raised his marks from 481 to 491 which brought him at 5th position in the merit list of 12th Class. He gave the credit of his success to his teachers and parents.
He thanked the Principal, Sonia Tohra for felicitating him on the same pattern as applied to the previous position holders.
