DYSSO organizes Talent Hunt competitions in various sports disciplines

JAMMU, Oct 12: The Department of Youth Services & Sports District Jammu organized a day long programme of Talent Hunt in various disciplines like Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Kabaddi and Judo at Khel Gaon Nagrota Jammu. More than 200 student players were drawn from different zones of district Jammu for participation to show their hidden talent in sports.
The talent hunt programme in games & sports was organized under the chairmanship of Gazanfer Ali, Director Youth Services & Sports JK UT and under the guidance of Jitender Mishra, Dy Director YS&S along with Assistant Director JD Office Jammu Mool Raj and under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
The aim of this talent hunt was to explore the hidden talent of the participants. The field staff of zone Jammu, Satwari, Gandhi Nagar and Dansal were deployed for witness these hidden talent competitions. Inspite of this the routine competitions of Cricket U/17 boys and Judo all age group girls were continued today as per schedule at Khel Gaon Nagrota In which all the zones of concerned players were competing with their opponent team/players at the same venue. Matches were officiated by panel of experts of the department.
