Commerce College Jammu organizes webinar on Personality Development

JAMMU, Oct 12: MANODARPAN: Psychology-cum-Career Counselling Cell of Govt SPMR College of Commerce Jammu in Collaboration with PIBM, Pune organized a webinar on “How to Crack Interview and Personality Development”. The programme began under the guidance of Prof Ranjeet Singh Jamwal, principal of the college. He expressed his happiness that the team Manodarpan is doing a great job. The webinar opened with welcome address by the convenor Prof Archana Kaul. Fatima Abbas, HOD Business Communication & Soft Skills PIBM, Pune was the resource person for the webinar. Fatima Abbas gave a detailed understanding of interviews the conduct, process and procedure. She gave many important tips to crack interviews. She discussed the importance of clarity in speech and diction, she encouraged students to feel comfortable and relaxed while facing the interview she gave some exercises for the same she also stressed upon the importance of positive attitude while facing interview. She provided insights into skills required for a successful interview. The students enthusiastically participated in the webinar with an interactive query solving session taken up by Prof Ashu Manhas. All the queries of the participants were addressed by the speaker in an interesting feel free way.
The students were impressed on learning the best way of grooming. She stressed that it is important to groom your personality which reflect the best about you. The proceedings of the webinar were smoothly coordinated by Prof Reeta Menia, Prof Jagmeet Kaur, Prof Rajni Bala, Prof Sakshi Sharma. The programme was attended by the students from different stream, committee members and teachers making it a successful event. The webinar ended with the formal vote of thanks by Prof Shreya Sharma. E-certificates were given to all the participants.
