JAMMU, Oct 12: Former minister and senior leader of National Conference Ajay Sadhotra has said that thousands of NC leaders and workers sacrificed their lives to earn peace in Jammu & Kashmir.
Strongly condemning the killing of army officer/soldiers in Poonch & selective killings in Srinagar Sadhotra while addressing a meeting of ex-servicemen wing of NC at Sangrampur said it is high time to engage all the stake holders in dialogue for political solution and lasting peace. He said that due to wrong policies of the BJP government 1990 situation is coming back which is sad, unfortunate and not in the national interest.
Sadhotra urged the union government to initiate dialogue with all the stake holders to find out political solution for lasting peace in Jammu & Kashmir. He also asked to take effective steps to provide security to the life & property of the citizens.
