Early Times Report

REASI, Oct 12: Tehsildar Pouni has refuted the news report published in a section of press about construction of a huge building on Government land near Tehsil Office Pouni of District Reasi by an alleged land grabber.
Tehsildar Pouni stated that as per revenue record no 227, the land in question is 7 kanal in total and the kind of soil is Banjar Qadim as per IQI Khasra Girdawari kharief 2021. Out of total 7 kanal in khasra no. 227, a piece of 2 kanal & 12 marlas has been purchased by Anil Sharma S/O Hans Raj Sharma R/o Bharakh from owners Om Parkash and others and mutation sale deed has also been attested vide Mutation no 282, while another 2 kanal & 12 maralas of land has been purchased by the Sunil Kumar S/o Mohan Lal R/O Kheraliar and mutation sale deed has also been attested.
He added that in January 2020, on the basis of a News report in the same Newspaper about encroachment of land at the site, a team of field staff was deputed for demarcation and it was found that khasra no. 226 measuring 53 kanal & 19 marlas falling adjoining and south of khasra no.227 is Shamlat Deh Hasav Rasad Malkaan and kind of soil is Gair Mumkin kassi out of which 4 kanal 3 marla of land was found encroached by Anil Kumar and Sunil Kumar by raising protection wall in 2009-10 and brick protection wall in 2017-18 . In this connection, the Revenue team led by Tehsildar visited the area and removed the brick wall on the spot and the same land is lying vacant.
Meanwhile, On October 11, 2021 Naib Tehsildar Pouni visited the spot and found that parties are filling the gap between road and building and no other construction is going on. The parties were restrained through police station Pouni from raising any construction other than mentioned in an interim order passed by High Court of J&K and Ladakh.
Tehsildar Pouni along with field staff also visited the spot yesterday and found that the parties are filling the gaps between road and building and there is no encroachment of any state land.
Thus the news item published in the local daily is refuted by Tehsildar Pouni.
