JAMMU, Oct 13: A programme was organized by District Congress Committee Reasi in which Advocate Suresh Dogra, Chairman OBC Deptt.PCC J&K was the special guest. In a handout issued here today, Dogra said that Congress party has always supported the rights of downtrodden and underprivileged class,
"It was only Congress who never opposed legal and constitutional provisions of any class like BJP who opposed Mandal commission report and withdrew their support to topple the government in 1990 to oppose the Mandal Commission report which guarantees 27 percent reservation to other backward classes throughout the country and also it was only the Congress party that brought Welfare Advisory Board for the Backward Classes into force in J&K in 2010," said Dogra.
Dogra said that Congress gave the MoS level powers into the hands of OBCs and in the adverse of that other tall claimant parties exploited the innocent people on the hollow slogan of nationality and very cleverly deprived them from their legal and Constitutional Rights. |
