| RM Public School celebrates Navratri , Dussehra Festival | | |  Jammu, Oct 13: Navratri and Dusshera are resurrecting events which come to kindle our spirits and imbibe new Confidence in us. The atmosphere of RM Public school was filled with spirituality as the school celebrated Navratri over the last one week. The celebrations included online discussions and competitions amongst the students of various classes. The programme culminated today by traditional kanya poojan in the premises by worthy Chairman Shree Rameshwar Mengi, Director of Shiksha Niketan Mr. Rasheek Mengi, the Director of R.M Public School, Mr. Rakshan Mengi, The Vice Principal of R.M Public School Kaajal Bhasin and in charges of various buildings also took part in Kanya Poojan. Ms. Harmeet kour from SNJN and Mr. Virender Singh from SNGN graced the occasion and also took part in the celebrations.
Keeping the festive spirit alive, Dussehra was also celebrated in the school premises. The effigies of Raavan, Meghnath and Kumbhkaran were burnt to mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil.
On the occasion the Director Mr. Rakshan Mengi prayed for an early relief from the pandemic and wished everyone a safe and Happy Navratri and Dussehra. |
